| System description: Chuck has what he believes is one of the largest residential solar hot water installations in the state. The 14 Heliodyne Gobi flat-plate panels provide all of the family's domestic hot water, and about one-half of the radiant heat. | |

| The McCowns were inspired to investigate solar energy after moving into this all electric house and getting their own shock from the power bills. The home is now heated with a combination of radiant heat and baseboards. An on-demand water heater takes up any slack. | ||
