Salt Lake and Davis area:

nAndy Schoenberg home, 3690 E. Millcreek Road (3800 S), Salt Lake City.
The creator of the Ecotrike, a solar-powered three-wheeled bicycle, will show off his creations, as well as an 800-watt solar system that powers his waterfall and some lights.

nBackman home, 275 N. Pioneer Ridge Road, Salt Lake City, in Emigration Canyon.
The solar thermal system with heats most of the family’s domestic hot water; two solar collectors on this passive solar-designed home.

nKRCL Radio 90.9 FM, 1971 W. North Temple
Solar PV panels to provide power backup and assist in lowering power bills. This type of system works well in a home or cabin.

nThe Green Building Center, 1952 E. 2700 South, Salt Lake City
Grid-connected solar power system supplements power bill and sends electricity back into the grid.

nBigelow and Jones home, 1211 E Harvard Ave, Salt Lake City

This new, high-performance building offers full solar power system and full solar thermal radiant system. See solar in action in what is the only fully off-grid business in Utah.

nDusty Poulson home, 5039 E. 2725 North, Eden
This home has a grand collection of renewable energy technologies, including a wind turbine and a large solar PV array with a grid-tied inverter and battery backup, as well as a solar thermal system that heats the family hot tub.

Solar domestic hot water, passive solar home
Directions: 275 N. Pioneer Ridge Road, Salt Lake City: Heading up Emigration Canyon, about 3 or so miles beyond Hogle Zoo, turn left onto Pioneer Fork Road. Go about .5 mile, and watch for signs.
